pingcat said...: Eighteen to vote in Canada, also with talk of reducing it to sixteen. As far as alcohol goes - depends on the province, most allow it at 18, some at 19.

There are tons of exceptions in the States regarding drinking age, most related to consumption on "private property" and so on, which might explain the proliferation of "Clubs" in places like Hawaii. I suppose if you really wanted to drink legally at age 18 in the US, you could join the armed forces, I believe on base 18 and up can consume.; 4:46 am
